Wedding FAQ’s

Questions are good for us, it’s how we learn to understand things. So if you have a question, then go right ahead and ask.  But first check here, the answer could well be right within your eyesight.

Do we have to have a traditional wedding ceremony?

No, you don’t have to have a traditional wedding ceremony. Your ceremony can be anything you want it to be. We can theme it with a fancy dress from a particular era, it can be funny, relaxed, elegant and simple. Your ceremony will be co- created with you and it will be a reflection of who you are as a couple. If it is themed with fancy dress, I will come dressed as the part.

How long will the ceremony go for?

It really depends on the kind of wedding ceremony you’re having. I would suggest that you allow an hour from start to finish. The ceremony begins when we see the bridesmaid on her way down the aisle ( if you have one), then it’s on to the ceremony, factor in any readings, poetry, and rituals. Then there’s the KISS – yep that passionate kiss as newlyweds, signing of the paperwork with your witnesses and of course the GROUP photo with everyone in it. That hour will fly by super fast!

Can we write our own vows?

You sure can write your own vows. I’ll be close by to help you with them if needed. That’s my job.
